Privacy Policy

Solo Party Games ("we", "us", "our") operates the website solopartygames.com (the "Site"), a free collection of single-player party minigames that run entirely in your browser. This Privacy Policy explains what information is and is not collected when you use the Site, and the choices you have.

2. Information we do not collect

Because the Site has no account system, no comment or upload features, and no payment features, we do not collect or store:

• names, email addresses, passwords, or other account credentials;
• payment or billing information;
• user-generated content (there is nothing to upload);
• your game scores or history (these stay on your device — see Section 3).

3. Local data on your device (localStorage)

The games store the following data in your browser's local storage, under keys prefixed with spg_:

• personal best scores per game;
• win/play streaks and daily challenge state;
• lightweight game preferences.

This data never leaves your device, is not transmitted to our servers, and is not accessible to us. You can delete it at any time by clearing your browser's site data for solopartygames.com. Because this data lives only on your device, clearing your browser data or switching devices will reset your records — we cannot restore them.

4. Advertising (third-party vendors, cookies, personalized ads)

The Site displays advertising served by third-party vendors, including Google (AdSense). Key points:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this Site and/or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this Site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You may opt out of personalized advertising from Google at any time via Google Ads Settings: https://adssettings.google.com/
• You can also opt out of many third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising via:

• Advertising cookies are set by the ad vendors, not by us. We do not receive or store the contents of those cookies.

5. Analytics

We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (e.g., Cloudflare Web Analytics or a self-hosted, cookieless equivalent) to understand aggregate usage: page views, game starts/completions, and similar event counts. These analytics:

• do not use cookies;
• do not collect personal identifiers, IP-based profiles, or cross-site identifiers;
• are reported to us only in aggregate form.

6. Consent management (EEA / UK / Switzerland) — GDPR

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland:

• Non-essential cookies and similar technologies (including advertising cookies) are not set until you give consent through our cookie consent banner.
• Our consent banner is provided by a Google-certified Consent Management Platform (CMP) integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework, so your choices are passed to ad vendors automatically.
• You may accept, reject, or customize non-essential cookies, and you may withdraw or change your consent at any time via the "Cookie Settings" link in the Site footer.
• Where you decline personalized ads, you will still see ads, but they will be non-personalized / contextual.
• Legal bases: strictly necessary storage is used on the basis of legitimate interest / service provision; all non-essential storage and personalization is used only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Data subject rights (access, erasure, objection, portability, complaint to a supervisory authority): because we hold no account data and no server-side personal data about you, most requests concern data held only on your own device (Section 3), which you control directly. 7. US state privacy rights — CCPA/CPRA and similar laws

If you are a California resident (or covered by a similar US state privacy law):

• We do not sell your personal information for money.
• Personalized advertising can be considered "sharing" of personal information under the CPRA. You may opt out at any time via the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in the Site footer, or by enabling the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser — we honor GPC as an opt-out request.
• You have the right to know, access, correct, and delete personal information, and to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. As noted above, we hold essentially no personal information about you; game data lives on your device.

8. Children's privacy (COPPA)

The Site is a general-audience website and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The Site has no accounts, forms, chat, or upload features through which a child could submit personal information to us. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact support@solopartygames.com and we will delete it.

Because the Site is not child-directed, we do not flag our ad traffic as child-directed (e.g., Google's TFCD/TFUA tags). Advertising is configured for a general audience.

9. Data security and retention

We operate no user database. Server-side logs (standard hosting/CDN logs such as Cloudflare edge logs) may temporarily process IP addresses and request metadata for security and reliability purposes and are retained per the hosting provider's standard retention schedule. Local game data is retained on your device until you delete it.

10. Third-party services and links

Self-hosted fonts and icons. The Site's typefaces and icons are served from our own domain under /assets/fonts/; pages do not request font files from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com) or any other third-party font host. These same-origin font requests set no cookies and are not used by us for tracking. Bricolage Grotesque and DM Sans are used under the SIL Open Font License 1.1; Material Symbols icon paths are used under the Apache License 2.0; the applicable license texts are distributed with the font files in /assets/fonts/. If your browser blocks web fonts, the games still work and pages render in fallback fonts.

The Site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices; review their policies separately.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
